Cameroon GCE Results 2018

Cameroon GCE results 2018 is finally out.

It has been celebration in some places and languishing in other places following the publication of the 2018 GCE results.

This Monday 23rd June at lycée de Molyko, Buea , it was a steady queue of eager students, (some in the company of Parents) most with mobile phones, streaming to the notice board of the institution.

Many others were seen around the vercinity of the GCE board which is a stone throw from lycée Molyko with mobile phones as well trying to see if the results will be published online.

Forces of law and order were also very visible in case of any chaos.

At specific locations were teachers, parent, friends and love ones congratulating those who excelled.

Gradually in groups of four or five, the students congregated and their facial expression could tell a story of its own.

There were shouts of joy, hugs and giggling on one end while lamentation and regrets was  observed in the same campus.
Eric Ayuk states
“this is the fifth time I am sitting in for the exam, this time I was very fortunate”.

Another fortunate candidate, states;
“I can now go ahead with my studies”
At the gate of the school, the scenario was different, students in tears, lamenting at the thought of another year in the same class, teachers say as examination preparation begins from the first day of the school year, so is the GCE.

Announcement of the release of the 2019 June session

The announcement of the release of the June session of the 2019 CAMEROON GCE results will be amazing this year.

Although the delay of  the publication of the results by the GCE Board and over State radio has left most students and parents upset.

One of such parent is Evelyn Mancho. Evelyn has three kids who all wrote the GCE Advanced.

That the confusion in which the Board placed children goes a long way to taint the image of the institution.

My children almost developed trauma while waiting for their results.

Having gone through stressful registration, tedious academic year and finally sitting for the examination, they still need to patiently wait for the results amid a number fake documents.

It is unacceptable that children suffer again like this to know their results, she reiterates.

Meanwhile, another parent who prefers anonymity reiterates in anger.

She says, she is surprised that in these days the Board has not been able to develop an online system.

This online system will help students to get timely and accurate results using their registration numbers”.

Meanwhile, parents and students alike will get chronic stress because of the number of false or outdated documents being circulated around.
